HepaCheC® is a qualitative ELISA-based assay with a defined cut-off and ready-to-use coloured reagents for easy analysis.

It contains a calibrator and a positive and negative control that verifies the assay performance. Both serum and plasma can be used for analysis, no sample pre-treatment or extractions are necessary.

The assay is not sensitive to bilirubin or triglyceride, components commonly increased in blood from patients with liver disease.
